Fort Myers Home Tile Re-Roof & Exterior Repaint

Our office recently had the great pleasure of serving a homeowner within the Shadow Wood Preserve community. The customer contracted us to replace their homes existing tile roof, and repaint the exterior of the residence.

Roof Replacement Scope Of Work

Upon beginning we removed the existing tile and underlayment from the roof, and properly disposed of the material in accordance with local code. Once the roof’s decking was properly inspected and replaced where applicable, we installed new tile underlayment to the entire surface of the roof. New 26 GA drip edge flashing, galvalume valley metal, and the appropriate vents, stacks, and flashing were also installed on the roof. Once properly prepared, the new tile roof system was installed with the appropriate foam adhesion and/or two screw fastener application system (per manufacturer specifications).

Exterior Repaint Scope Of Work

Using Sherwin Williams paint products our painting division went to work to transform the exterior of this beautiful Fort Myers Home. Our standard paint procedure implemented consist of the following referenced items below:

  1. TRENCH AROUND PERIMETER OF HOME 1 TO 3 INCHES.
  2. PRESSURE WASH EXTERIOR FREE OF DIRT AND FOREIGN MATERIAL
  3. APPLY ONE COAT OF MASONRY SEALER TO STUCCO SURFACES
  4. SEAL MASONRY CRACKS, IF PRESENT, WITH ELASTOMERIC PATCHING COMPOUND
  5. INSPECT CAULK AT WINDOWS AND DOORS, IF DETERIORATED REMOVE AND REPLACE AS NEEDED
  6. APPLY ONE COAT OF SW DURATION SATIN PAINT, USING BRUSH AND ROLL TECHNIQUE, TO STUCCO WALLS, CEILINGS, FASCIA, SOFFIT, BANDS & TRIM
  7. APPLY ONE COAT OF SW DURATION SEMI-GLOSS PAINT TO THE EXTERIOR SIDE OF ENTRY & GARAGE DOORS 8. COLORS TO BE SELECTED BY OWNER

Gulf Harbour Roof Replacement

Unfortunately, this home located in the Gulf Harbour Yacht & Country club in Fort Myers Florida was damaged during Hurricane Irma. Upon inspection following the storm, 5 active roof leaks were found on this 20 year old roof. Temporary repairs were made to the dining room ceiling, bathroom, hallway, and living room areas until a new roof could be completed.

After removing the home’s existing tile roofing structure and underlayment, our team proceeded to install a new roof using Boral’s Saxony 900 slate tile in their dark charcoal colorway. Once completed, we also installed new 6″ aluminum seamless gutters with wedges to properly route water off of the roof. With a new roof from First Service, this Fort Myers homeowner is ready to weather another 20 years of Florida storms!

  • Remove and dispose of the existing gutters and downspouts.
  • Install up to 325LF of new almond 6″ aluminum seamless gutters with wedges.
  • Install up to (7) downspouts, (32lf) splash guards including 14lf on the back super gutter, (3) small downspouts, (17) miters, (14lf) of kick out extensions to match the existing layout.
  • Jobsite will be cleaned of all work-related debris upon completion.

Estero Florida Tile Roof Replacement, Gutter Install, and Exterior Paint

Our office was recently contacted by a homeowner in Estero Florida with a roof leak that required a temporary repair until the roof could be replaced. Our team inspected the roof and when appropriate, replaced the residences roofing structure using Boral’s Barcelona 900 tile in their stone light brown color. Once the home received its new roof, our team also replaced the gutter system with new 6″ aluminum seamless gutters and wedges.

As the top half of the home had undergone a complete transformation, our clients felt that the exterior finish of the home was in need of work as well. Our painting division was called in to repaint the exterior of this residence using Sherwin Williams paint products. Bonita Springs Commercial Tile Roof Replacement & Gutter Installation

This commercial building located in Bonita Springs Florida was the unfortunate recipient of roof damage as a result of Hurricane Irma in years past. After several temporary repairs, our office was contracted to perform a thorough inspection and ultimately provide a full commercial roof replacement. Upon commencement, our roofing teams worked together to remove the existing tile roof to make way for the client’s new Boral Villa 900 tile in their Espresso Blend colorway. As our team completed the tile roof, we also installed new 6″ aluminum seamless gutters on the first story of the building to properly channel water from the roof during storms.

While this project turned out amazing, our painting division is currently standing by to provide the building a complete exterior repaint to complete the facilities transformation!

Fort Myers Residential Tile Roof Replacement

Our office had the recent pleasure of assisting a customer within the Promenade home community in Fort Myers Florida. The home had experienced roof damage as a result of Hurricane Irma and required a tile roof replacement to properly repair. Once the project was approved, our roofing division went to work removing the existing roof structure and installed Eagle’s Malibu Coca Range tile. Following completion of our customers new roof, we installed new white 6″ aluminum seamless gutters onto the first story of the home. Tile Roof Replacement, Gutter Installation, and Exterior Repaint For Ft. Myers Home

At First Service, we are blessed with the opportunity to work with many amazing clients. This home in Fort Myers, FL is no exception. The new homeowners within the Gateway community wanted a new look for their home, and chose our company to help. Our roofing division replaced the home’s damaged roof with a new Boral tile roof using their Barcelona 900 tile in their mountain blend colorway. Additionally, our team also installed new 6″ white aluminum seamless gutters to properly divert water off of the home’s roof. Once complete with the roof and gutter system, our painting division stepped in using Sherwin Williams premium paint products and repainted the exterior of this beautiful home.

Hilton Garden Inn Commercial Exterior Repaint

Close to the Lakeland airport, off of Route 570, this hotel wanted to transform the exterior of their facility to improve its curb appeal. Our company was hired to do just that! Once contracted, our painting division went to work to complete a full exterior repaint of the hotel just in time for Summer and incoming guests of the hotel. We used the finest Sherwin Williams paint products to produce a vibrant, deep colorway across the building. We love the colors chosen and are thrilled with how this commercial paint project turned out!

Recently Completed Tile Roof Replacement Within The Sandoval Home Community

Our roofing team recently had the pleasure of working within the Sandoval community in Cape Coral Florida. The roof on our customer’s two-story home had been damaged during Hurricane Irma and required a new tile roof as a result. Shingle Roof Replacement & Gutter Installation For Fort Myers Condominium

Unfortunately this condominium neighborhood within Sparrowood At The Forest experienced storm damage as a result of Hurricane Irma. Upon inspection, it was determined that these buildings required a complete shingle re-roof to properly repair their roofing structures. First Service was contracted to carry out the complete roof replacements for these buildings along with installing new seamless gutters. Our team worked diligently to remove their existing roofs to make way for GAF’s weather watch mineral-surfaced leak barrier peel and stick, as well as GAF’s 130mph timberline HDZ shingles which are rated at wind speeds up to 130 mph. Once complete with the roofs, our team installed new seamless gutters to complete the project.

With a new roof from First Service, our clients can rest easy knowing that they are properly prepared for our upcoming storm season!

  2. Inspect the condition of existing decking, flashing, and fascia board for their suitability of re-use. Any damaged or deteriorated materials will be replaced on a unit price or time and material basis.
  3. Re-nail existing plywood roof deck to meet current Florida Building Code.
  4. Furnish and install (1) layer of GAF Weather Watch Mineral-Surfaced Leak Barrier Peel & Stick, self-adhered shingle underlayment, applied direct to plywood roof deck in all valley and penetration locations.
  5. Furnish and install (1) layer of Leak Barrier MS300 Ice and Water Armor Self-Bond Peel & Stick, self-adhered shingle underlayment, applied direct to plywood roof deck.
  6. Furnish and install new 26 GA – 16″ – Mill (50′) galvalume valley metal in all valleys. Note: We use a closed valley detail.
  7. Install 26 GA galvalume kitchen and dryer vents.
  8. Furnish and install drip edge fabricated from 26-gauge steel with a baked enamel finish. Standard color to be selected by Building Representative.
  9. Furnish and install GAF Pro-Start starter shingle at all eave/rake locations.
  10. Furnish and install 130 mph GAF Timberline HD shingles, nailed with (6) nails per shingle, to plywood decking. Color to be selected by Building Representative. 11. Furnish and install GAF Seal A Ridge Hip & Ridge Cap Shingles at all hip and ridge locations. Color to match field shingle color.
  11. Furnish and install a GAF Cobra Rigid Vent3 Exhaust Vent system at applicable ridge lines.
  12. Furnish and install new lead pipe boots where existing pipes penetrate the roof surface.
  13. First Service will provide 2-year workmanship warranty and a GAF SYSTEM PLUS 50 YEAR NON-PRORATED WARRANTY ON ANY GAF MATERIAL ON THE ROOF. Stain Guard algae protection and 10-year limited warranty against blue-green algae discoloration available only on shingles sold in packages bearing the StainGuard® logo.

Fort Myers Tile Roof Replacement & Repaint

Our office recently had the pleasure of serving the needs of a wonderful customer within the Gateway Greens community in Fort Myers Florida. Upon being contacted our team visited the residence to perform a roof inspection. With extensive damage on the roof, it was later determined that Hurricane Irma was the root cause of these damages and in order to properly repair, the home would need to receive a complete roof replacement. Once the project was approved we went to work removing the existing tile roof. Following the removal of the tile and installation of the appropriate underlayment, our team installed Boral’s Barcelona 900 tile in their gold dust color. Our team completed the roof and installed a new aluminum seamless gutter system as well to finish the project.

After our roofing team was complete, our painting division mobilized and completed a full exterior repaint using Sherwin Williams paint products. The end result turned out amazing and our customer’s selections beautifully transformed the exterior of this home!
