At First Service, we implement an interior painting process that ensures stellar results with each project we complete. The brief outline below will showcase what you can expect when selecting First Service to paint the interior of your residence.

Consultation

Every paint job, no matter how big or how small, starts with you. Together, we’ll figure out exactly what your goals are with the project while selecting paint colors, accent colors, any required style, and finish. We will also advise you where applicable to ensure the best possible outcome for your painting project. We’ll gladly review paint samples and provide perspective of all the many choices that you have so that you can figure out what would work best for your home.

The First Walkthrough

Upon our arrival, we will walk through the property to ensure the project is being carried out as discussed. During this walkthrough, we’ll craft a strategy to ensure that your project is completed efficiently and to the scope of work initially agreed upon.

Room Preparation

Our painters take extra care ensuring the the contents of your home are protected. We’ll move furniture out of the way, or cover it if we can’t move it. We’ll protect expensive flooring as well as anything else that may need special consideration. We’ll ensure that the walls are smooth and ready for a nice coat paint, including removing any electrical plates, sanding appropriate areas, or repairing any walls as needed.

Additional Steps Or Repairs

Before we paint a room, we always check to see if there are any items that need addressed. This includes basic repairs ranging from patching up holes in a wall to fixing baseboard. We’ll always consult with you when we find issues before taking these additional steps so there’s no need to worry about us working on something you did not approve.

Painting

This is the fun part! Your vision will quickly come to life as our expert staff paint the interior of your home to give it new life. We’ll make sure that lines are clean, and the paint is perfectly applied to your satisfaction. Once painting is complete, we’ll clean up our materials and your interior space prior to your final review.

Final Walkthrough

When the project is complete, a member of our staff will walk you through your completed painting project. Well answer and address any questions and comments you may have at this time.
