Lehigh Acres Shingle Re-Roof

Our roofing division recently completed a shingle roof replacement for a Lehigh Acres home that had experienced damage from Hurricane Irma. Upon inspection, roof damage was found which was also determined to be the cause of a leak experienced in the home’s master bedroom. Once contracted, our roofing team removed the existing roof covering and underlayment and installed a new roof using Tamko underlayment and shingles. The project turned out great and our homeowners can rest assured that their home is protected from Florida’s harsh weather conditions for years to come!

Scope Of Work:

Provide permit, labor, and materials to complete the following:

  • Remove roof covering and underlayment.

  • Install Resisto peel & stick underlayment to entire roof surface.
  • Install new 26 GA pre-painted drip edge flashing to entire roof perimeter.
  • Install new 26 GA – 16″ – Mill (50′) galvalume valley metal in all valleys. Note: We use a closed valley detail.
  • Install 26 GA galvalume kitchen and dryer vents.
  • Install new lead flashing around all plumbing stacks.
  • Install a new 130mph Architectural Asphalt shingle roof system as per manufacturer specifications.

Tile Roof Replacement For A Shadow Wood Community Home In Fort Myers Florida

The roofing team at First Service recently had the pleasure of working with a homeowner in the Fort Myers Shadow Wood housing community. Following a roof inspection, it was determined that the home had sustained roof damage as a result of Hurricane Irma. Our office was contracted to carry out the necessary roof repairs which called for a complete tile roof replacement. The project began with our roofing division removing and disposing of the existing tile and underlayment. Our customer selected Boral’s Villa 900 tile in their Marmalade color, which beautifully accented the home. We installed new tile underlayment to the entire roof surface along with the tile and other necessary components.

This project turned out great and we’re blessed with the opportunity to serve this wonderful homeowner!

Residential Flat Roof Repair and Exterior Paint For Matlacha Florida Home

Our office was recently contacted by a homeowner in the process of selling their home to a new buyer. The home’s flat roof was in need of repair, along with a section of drywall that needed replaced. Once contracted to complete the repairs our team visited the home and removed the existing roof covering and underlayment, to properly repair the flat roof using the appropriate materials. Once completed we also replaced, and textured a 2×2 area of drywall on the lanai ceiling prior to painting the entire lanai ceiling for a clean installation.

  • The flat roof will be replaced using Polyglass peel and stick base sheet and topped with Polyglass torch down cap sheet.

Drywall repair and exterior paint:

  • Remove up to 2×2 area of drywall on back lanai ceiling.
  • Hang, tape, and texture new drywall.
  • Paint entire lanai ceiling

Shadow Wood Preserve Tile Roof Replacement

Our office was recently contacted by a homeowner within the Shadow Wood Preserve community of Fort Myers Florida. Upon inspection of the roofing structure, it was determined that the roof had sustained damage as a result of Hurricane Irma and that a roof replacement would be required for proper repair. Following the removal of the existing roof, our team installed Boral’s Saxony Split Slate roofing tile in their coconut color, which really helped accent this home beautifully. Additionally, we also installed new white aluminum seamless gutters to the first story of the residence as well.

Our client can sleep easy now knowing that their home’s roof will protect them for years to come from Florida’s harsh weather and storm seasons!

Estero Florida Roof Replacement In The Stoneybrook Community

Our office recently had the pleasure of serving the roofing needs of a great customer in Estero Florida. This two story home situated within the Stoneybrook golf course community had been damaged after Hurricane Irma, and the homeowner contracted First Service to complete a roof replacement and gutter installation. Our roofing division mobilized and removed the existing roofing structure and replaced it with Eagle Capistrano tile in their Brown/Gray range colorway. We also installed new white aluminum seamless gutters on the second story of the home as well. The finished product turned out amazing and we’re grateful for the opportunity to serve the roofing needs of these Estero residents!

Residential Tile Re-Roof For Estero Florida Home

Our office was recently contacted by a homeowner in Rookery Pointe to inspect their home’s roof. Their roof had sustained damage after Hurricane Irma, and following an inspection it was determined that the home would need a complete re-roof. Once contracted, our office carried out the roof replacement by first removing the home’s existing roof and then installing new Boral Barcelona 900 tile. Additionally, we also installed a new gutter system for the client to properly route water off of the roof.

This project turned out great, and both the homeowner and our office are ecstatic with the finished product!

New Construction Tile Roof For Gazebo

We recently had the great pleasure of working with Artesian Pools to service a client by installing a new construction tile roof on the gazebo over the homeowner’s breathtaking infinity pool. The homeowner selected an amazing tile from Boral, and it really helped accent their backyard oasis perfectly. We love how this project turned out and cannot wait to see the finished product once the pool is complete!

Roof Installation On Addition For Historic 1925 Mediterranean Style Home

Our roofing division recently had the great pleasure of installing a brand new roof on the addition of this 1925 Mediterranean style home located in historic Fort Myers Florida. This beautifully maintained property has been updated over the past 40 years by its owner and is quite stunning. When it was time to repair the existing roof and install a new section of roof on the home’s addition, our office was contacted. We installed new Verera Red clay tile on the roof. We also replaced the flat area of roof as well ensuring a solid roofing structure to protect this home for years to come.

  • Remove existing tile and underlayment and dispose of in accordance with local code.
  • Inspect existing decking. Damaged or deteriorated decking will be replaced on a unit price basis.

  • Install tile underlayment to entire roof surface.
  • Install new 26 GA pre-painted drip edge flashing to entire roof perimeter.
  • Install new 26 GA galvalume valley metal in all valleys.
  • Install 26 GA galvalume kitchen and dryer vents. (paint to match as close as possible to color of tile)
  • Install 26 GA eave closure metal.
  • Install new lead flashing around all plumbing stacks.
  • Install a new tile roof system with foam adhesion and or two screw fastener application system as per manufacturer specifications.
  • Provide one (1) year workmanship warranty on tile application.

Attach to existing permit, labor, and materials to complete the following:

  • Flat re-roof over the front left corner on house that attaches to the addition.
  • Remove existing roof covering and underlayment up to the termination bar around the perimeter.
  • Re-nail decking to local hurricane mitigation code.
  • Install new iso tapered insulation system as needed for proper draining of water.
  • The flat roof will be replaced using Black Diamond peel and stick base sheet and topped with CertainTeed GTA peel and stick cap sheet.
  • All material shall be returned up the walls and counter flashed with an exterior stucco stop flashing.
  • All flashings shall be sealed as needed.
  • Clean job site of all roofing debris.

Provide labor and materials to complete the following Stucco repair:

  • Remove four of the existing rake tiles that tie into wall at affected area.
  • Prep affected area with lynx stucco primer.
  • Install stucco termination at base of roof tie-in, to feather the wall true.
  • Apply stucco scratch coat to primed area.
  • Upon proper cure time install build out layers of stucco.
  • Upon completion of stucco fill, texture will be added to replicate existing as close as possible.
  • Upon completion of stucco curing, the affected area will be primed and painted to match.
  • Roof surface at dead valley will be terminated onto the new stucco finish.
  • Existing rake cap will be reinstalled and mortared to finish.
  • Upon completion, job site will be cleaned of all construction debris.

First Service will provide the labor and material to complete the following scope of work:

  • Install up to 1 sheet of drywall on the front side of the upstairs bedroom, under and left of the leaking window.
  • Tape, finish, and texture the drywall to match the existing as close as possible.
  • The existing rake tile on the upper tile roof slope over the stairwell will be re-installed using a foam installation.
  • The rake tile will be mortared in and painted upon completion.
  • The mortar will need to be painted the following day of installation to ensure dry and cure time.
  • Upon completion the job site will be cleaned of all work-related debris.

Eagle Pointe Gazebo/Pool House Re-Roof & Paint Project

We were recently contracted to work with Eagle Pointe in Fort Myers Florida, for both roofing and painting work. Formally known as Cypress Pointe, Eagle Pointe is a gated subdivision of single-family homes located within the Gateway community of Fort Myers Florida. Our team was hired to complete a tile roof for their pool building and gazebo, as well as paint the ceiling of the pool house. It was a great pleasure serving Eagle Pointe, and we look forward to serving the communities roofing and paint needs for years to come!

  • Upon completion, the job site will be cleaned of all work-related debris.

Tile Repair For Cape Coral Home

We received a call recently from a homeowner in the Cape Royal Golf Club Community that was experiencing a leak where their pool cage met the home’s roof. Upon inspection, we found that the home’s tile roof had broken tiles which allowed for the leak to occur. Our roofing division repaired the tile roof and our homeowner’s problem was quickly remedied!
