Our roofing division recently had the pleasure of working with a great homeowner in North Port, Florida. With a need for a new roof, our office was contacted for a quote. Once we performed a thorough roof inspection on this home, we provided the homeowner with their options for repair and replacement. A roof replacement was warranted in this scenario and ultimately carried out.

Our expert roofing crews removed the existing roof structure and prepared the home replacing damaged decking plywood and installing the appropriate underlayment. Once complete, we moved forward installing new drip edge flashing, galvalume metal, eave closure metal, flashing, and vents to fully prepare for the home’s new roof tile to be installed. Concrete roofing tiles in the weathered ash colorway were selected for this install, which once completed, accented this home and its new color scheme beautifully! Once the roof was complete, we installed new aluminum soffit and gutters on this amazing home.

With a new roof from First Service, these homeowners are now prepared to weather any storm Southwest Florida experiences. Our team was recently contacted by a homeowner in Fort Myers, Florida to assess the condition of their roof. This home’s roof had unfortunately been damaged from a prior hurricane, and in order to properly repair the roofing structure, a complete roof replacement was agreed upon. Once contracted, our team went to work removing the existing roof. Once all of the old roof was removed, we inspected the decking and replaced any deteriorated or damaged wood prior to re-nailing everything to meet mitigation code. The appropriate underlayment, drip edge flashing, galvalume metal, eave closure metal, flashing, and vents were also installed making way for the home’s new tile roof system.

For this home, we installed Boral’s estate roofing tile in their light brown/white antique colorway. Once the roof was completed, a new 6″ seamless gutter system was also installed on the home’s first story. The combination of Boral’s beautiful roofing tile and the white seamless gutters accented the home beautifully, and turned out spectacular. With a new roof from Southwest Florida’s most dedicated roofing company along with a 2 year workmanship warranty on the tile application, this homeowner can weather any storm with confidence knowing their family and home are protected.

Our roofing division recently had the pleasure of working with a wonderful homeowner in Estero Florida. With a need for a new tile roof, our roofing division was contacted and contracted to remove and replace the home’s roofing structure.

We began the project by removing the existing tile roof and underlayment. These materials were then disposed of properly in accordance with local code. With the wood decking exposed, we inspected and replaced any areas that were deteriorated or damaged. The decking was then re-nailed to meet hurricane mitigation codes and a new tile underlayment was installed to the entire roof surface. All of the appropriate drip edge flashing, galvalume valley metal, eave closure metal, and galvalume kitchen/dryer vents were also installed. New lead flashing was also installed around all plumbing stacks to seal up these areas.

With the home ready for its new roofing tile, our team went to work installing Villa’s 900 Arbor Green tile to the entire roof with the appropriate fastener application system per manufacturer specifications. Once complete we went to work installing new tan 6” aluminum seamless gutters along with the appropriate downspouts and splash guards to properly route water off the home’s roof.

This homeowner can now safely weather any storm with a new tile roof from First Service accompanied with both workmanship and manufacturer warranties! Once we installed their new roofing tile, the difference was night and day. The new tile accented the home beautifully, however, the homeowner also elected our team to repaint the entire exterior of the residence which will further beautify their home.

Our roofing division recently had the pleasure of assisting a homeowner in Fort Myers Florida that had experienced significant storm damage to their roof. We met with the homeowner and provided a thorough roof inspection to assess the damage and the current state of the roofing structure. It was decided that a roof replacement would be needed to appropriately repair the damage and protect the customer’s home.

Once contracted, our roofing division went to work removing the existing tile roof and underlayment. These materials were disposed of according to local code. We then inspected the existing decking and replaced where necessary. All decking was re-nailed to meet hurricane mitigation code. Once completed, our roofers installed tile underlayment to the entire roof surface along with new 26 GA pre-painted drip edge flashing to the entire perimeter of the roof. 26 GA galvalume valley metal, 26 GA kitchen and dryer vents were also installed along with new lead flashing around all plumbing stacks. Our customer selected a beautiful tile from Boral’s Barcelona 900 series in their Stone Mountain Blend colorway. Our team installed this tile roofing system per manufacturer specifications. Once complete, new 6″ white aluminum seamless gutters were installed around the entire perimeter eave of the home to properly divert water off of the roof. With a brand new roof from First Service, our customer can rest assured that their home is protected and ready to weather any storm with a 5 year workmanship warranty on the tile application as well as the appropriate manufacturers warranties.

Our team was called to Naples to inspect the roof of a home with suspected hurricane damage to the roof. After inspecting the roof and speaking with the client, First Service was ultimately contracted to carry out the repair work which entailed replacing the existing tile roofing structure. Once the project was underway, we removed the existing tile and underlayment, and disposed of it in accordance with local code. The decking was inspected and replaced where needed, and we re-nailed it as well to meet hurricane mitigation code.

A new tile underlayment was installed on the entire roof surface, followed by 26 GA pre-painted drip edge flashing to the roof’s perimeter. The appropriate valley metal, vents, flashing, and eave closure metal was also installed. The tile selected for this project was Boral’s Estate roofing tile in their Bayside Blend colorway. While the tile beautifully accented the home, this durable roof will ensure that the home and its inhabitants will be protected from Florida’s harsh weather conditions for years to come. Once the roof was completed, our teams installed new white 6″ aluminum seamless gutters to properly divert rain off of the roof.

Unfortunately, this home located in the Gulf Harbour Yacht & Country club in Fort Myers Florida was damaged during Hurricane Irma. Upon inspection following the storm, 5 active roof leaks were found on this 20 year old roof. Temporary repairs were made to the dining room ceiling, bathroom, hallway, and living room areas until a new roof could be completed.

After removing the home’s existing tile roofing structure and underlayment, our team proceeded to install a new roof using Boral’s Saxony 900 slate tile in their dark charcoal colorway. Once completed, we also installed new 6″ aluminum seamless gutters with wedges to properly route water off of the roof. With a new roof from First Service, this Fort Myers homeowner is ready to weather another 20 years of Florida storms!

Re-Roof Scope Of Work:

Provide permit, labor, and materials to complete the following:

• Remove existing tile and underlayment and dispose of in accordance with local code.
• Inspect existing decking. Damaged or deteriorated decking will be replaced on a unit price basis.
• Re-nail decking to meet hurricane mitigation code.
• Install tile underlayment to entire roof surface.
• Install new 26 GA pre-painted drip edge flashing to entire roof perimeter.
• Install new 26 GA galvalume valley metal in all valleys.
• Install 26 GA galvalume kitchen and dryer vents.
• Install 26 GA eave closure metal. Install new lead flashing around all plumbing stacks.
• Install a new tile roof system with foam adhesion and or two screw fastener application system as per manufacturer specifications.
• Provide five (5) year workmanship warranty on tile application.

Provide manufacturers warranties.

Gutter Install Scope Of Work:

Provide labor and material to complete the following:

• Remove and dispose of the existing gutters and downspouts.
• Install up to 325LF of new almond 6″ aluminum seamless gutters with wedges.
• Install up to (7) downspouts, (32lf) splash guards including 14lf on the back super gutter, (3) small downspouts, (17) miters, (14lf) of kick out extensions to match the existing layout.
• Jobsite will be cleaned of all work-related debris upon completion.
