D’Vontay Friga, YouTube sensation and Division 3 basketball star at University of Mount Union in Alliance, Ohio, was slated to win the championship game his senior year when everything came to an abrupt halt due to the pandemic. Instead of letting this become a setback, he showcased his basketball skills and love of community on YouTube! His father, local contractor and owner of Friga Tyme Corp. built a basketball court in North Fort Myers! Parks were closed and this was a way to continue play in a safe and small group setting during quarantine. First Service painted the court purple for the Purple Raiders! D’Vontay intends to continue using the court to organize tournaments and charity events to give back to the community!
