Our office recently completed a tile roof replacement in Sarasota Florida for a wonderful client. The home’s existing roof had a series of leaks that resulted in a large amount of rotten wood beneath the tile roofing structure. Once contracted our teams went to work removing the existing tile roof and underlayment. We then disposed of these materials in accordance with local code. With the decking revealed, our roofers then began replacing the damaged wood and re-nailing to meet proper hurricane mitigation code.
Once complete and ready, the underlayment for the customer’s new roof was installed to the entire roof surface along with new 26GA drip edge flashing, galvalume valley metal, and the appropriate kitchen and dryer vents. 26GA eave closure metal and lead flashing were also installed around all plumbing stacks prior to the installation of the new tile roof system. We installed Barcelona 900 Canyon Clay Tile on this home’s roof and the final product turned out amazing. A new gutter system was also installed at the close of the project to properly route water off of the new roof. These Sarasota homeowners can rest easy now knowing that their new tile roof is ready for storm season and was properly replaced by Southwest Florida’s most dedicated roofing company.
