We were recently contacted by a homeowner in Southeast Cape Coral Florida in the midst of a remodel with a need to repair their roof. Upon review during a roof inspection, the client’s existing roof was old and worn, thus requiring a replacement of the roof per their insurance company. Once contracted, our roofing division went to work removing the existing layers of shingles, underlayment, fasteners, and decking (where appropriate), to make way for the new roof. After our team ensured the home was ready for the new roofing system we installed GAF’s weather watch mineral surfaced leak barrier peel and stick underlayment along with new valley metal, drip edge flashing, and vents. GAF’s Pro-Starter shingles were installed at all eave/rake locations, along with GAF Timberline HDZ 130mph rated shingles on the entire roofing surface.
This advanced shingle system will protect the home from our inclement Southwest Florida weather, and ensure both the occupants and contents of the home stay dry for years to come. Our customer chose GAF’s Oyster Grey colorway, and it accented their home beautifully. A solar system was also installed by Solar Energy Solutions Of America which should provide significant savings to our client’s energy consumption bills each year.
